About The Outer Banks Candle Company
Candle making at The Outer Banks Candle Company is a labor of love. From start to finish, each candle is made by hand in small batches. Each of The Outer Banks Candle Company signature scents was made by mixing, testing, and eating fragrances. Furthermore, the entire procedure is meticulously carried out after years of practice and experimentation. In the first picture, the 100-pound melter melts the wax at high temperatures. At this point, they transfer the wax to tiny pots and add as much delicious fragrance as the wax will hold. After the wax has had a chance to cool down, the wicks are put in place, and each candle is hand-poured with care. When the candles have been permitted to solution for 24 hours, then, at that point, each candle is cleaned, wicks are managed, strips are tied, and each flame is marked manually. Last but not least, they carefully package and ship them, concluding with a handwritten note of thanks.
