AMMA was developed by Emily Baldoni, Sharon Baldoni, and Satya Twena. AMMA's first product, Cocoon, was originally designed 34 years ago by Emily's mother-in-law, Sharon Baldoni, who was breastfeeding her son Justin Baldoni. Thirty years later, when Emily began breast-feeding her daughter Maia, Sharon gave her the cocoon. Emily found herself using cocoons every day. She was inspired by Sharon's original design, which, in partnership with Satya, redesigned the cocoon for the busy mother of modern fashion.
